3 Summer Smoothie Recipes

Hey everyone! Today I want to share with you 3 Summer smoothie recipes. These recipes are perfect for breakfast, after a work out or just to enjoy as a refresher on a Summer’s day. All these recipes call for almond milk as the base which also means 2 of the recipes are also vegan and dairy free.

For all of these recipes just add them to your blender/smoothie maker and blend away!

  1. Berry Medley

This smoothie recipe is super refreshing and a tasty good way to get your fruit in if you’re not the biggest fruit lover.

You Will Need:

  • 3 Handfuls of frozen berry mix, frozen berry mix can be found in the frozen aisle at most supermarkets. You can also add your own fresh berries such as blueberries and raspberries.
  • 250ml of almond milk.

2. Mango & Blueberry

This smoothie recipe is definitely brain food with the killer mango and blueberry combination!

You Will Need:

  • 1 handful of frozen blueberries
  • 1 Handful of frozen mango
  • 250ml of almond milk

3. Super Banana

This smoothie is perfect post work out or as a breakfast alternative and the combination of honey banana and yoghurt is heavenly!

You Will Need:

  • 1tsp honey
  • 2 tbsp of natural yoghurt
  • 1 chopped banana
  • 200ml almond milk

I hope you enjoy these 3 Summer smoothies! They’re all really quick and easy and the great thing about using frozen fruit is that it’s still fresh but you don’t have to worry about it going bad if you don’t use it all straight away. Frozen fruit actually works out less expensive than buying fresh fruit and I always keep a stock of it in my freezer for when I fancy a quick smoothie.
